I guess the worst one is the drain plug at the bottom of the land
tranny. It is very difficult to even touch, and getting it out and
back in requires a turn of the wrench every millimeter as it is
steel screwing into aluminum, no (few) free turns of the fingers.

I have had the wiper motor out twice for repairs and a repack, and
at least you can stand up doing that, not sprawled out in the bilge
in a twisted monkey paw fashion to get that hidden plug.

Got my speedo cable today from Gordons, great NOS part. Wish I had
used a carbon throwout bearing when I had the engine out. Got 2 now,
so they (1) go in next time the 1147 comes out (visions of 1500cc
dancing in my head).
