My guess would be "resale" red is the most popular color. Lots of
cars have been changed to red (the $55k car on eBay was obviously
green). The color can have an effect on price depending on the
buyer's preferances. An astute buyer will pay more attention to
condition rather than color but that is not always the case.

There was a gold colored Amphi in an auction a few months ago. For
me, I would not be interested because it was not a good color for
the car. If others have the same opinion, the value will surely be
affected. It only takes one buyer who loves it to sell.

If it were me, I would NEVER change the color. I am a bit of a
purist so I prefer original cars. Even the green has grown on me.
Was my least favorite color, yet I have owned more green cars than
any other.
