RE: Re: Amphicar in a swimming pool

This has already been done, I have a photo of a blue Amphi in a
24' round pool at what looks like a fair ground.

Somewhere I have the origin of this photo. If any one is interested
In a copy, or it's origin, please email me at berniesoldate@pobox.com

how ? I could of course build the pool around the car and just fill it
up but the water supply at my house is not great - just half inch pipe -
so pool will take at least a week to fill. I don't think there is any
straightforward way to lift the car into the pool so only way I can
think of is support the car on blocks - build the pool around it - fill
the pool - somehow remove the blocks so the car drops in and floats -
then drain water out when photos have been taken.

year in Wisconsin!! We just overfill the pool in the fall & when it
freezes we drive in!! Only problem we have is no one knows how to get
them out!! Tom n Cindy "blugill ,Finzilla"
