Vredestein Tires - 11-18-2007, 03:24 AM

I was recently doing some web surfing, and I came across the site for Vredestein (a Dutch tire manufacturer).

http://www.vredestein.com/index.asp

Since Vredestein supplied the OEM tires for all Amphicars, I searched their (strangely slow) site, and found that they make a 165 R 13 82 T in their Sprint+ series:

(you may have to paste that long URL)

I also found that Vredestein has a USA distributor, listed as:

13 Bridge Street
Metuchen N.J. 08840
U.S.A.
Telephone:732-549-2440/800-221-3422
Fax:732-549-2450
E-mail address:
customerus@vredestein.com

and 143 USA dealers listed at:

Although I don't think Vredestein tires were uniquely better than any other current tires, if you are a stickler for authenticity, you may want check them out.
