A forum style web site makes sense however there are still many
members that don't have a computer and many that have one and don't
use it. Then you have some that collect the newsletter and desire a
hard copy.

A few years ago Amphipoda tried to set up the newsletter so it could
be emailed (option still on form). Even if half the members chose the
email option it would save the club close to 2K a year but I think
only 14 signed up for it.
