My amphi doesn’t take much water in but the pump impeller was worn enough that it would only pull the bilge water up to the pump, but not pump it out. Installed a new nylon impeller and it is like new. Check your impellers for wear every few years. It only takes a few minutes. The nylon will eventually wear down.
Try impeller No. 6303-0003, which is an oil-resistant nitrile material. It may prolong it's life.
