Re: Amphicar Enclosed Trailer For Sale

Hi All,

OK, the trailer is now on eBay.

Now, as much as I would like you to go crazy with the bidding, I gotta be perfectly honest with my fellow Amphibians or I could not sleep well. This trailer is a royal pain in the ass for loading, unloading, or tying down. Yes, an Amphicar does fit inside but just barely. Yes, it is set up for an Amphicar with the extra door, wheel stops in place, etc. Still, I suspect there is a good reason why I am now the third owner and neither previous owner kept it for very long.

Rob, I think many of your NSB trailers are indeed just right for Amphi and well set up for Amphi. This model is not one of them and is not one I could recommend to anyone.

I recently added 2x2 strips along the sides of the ramp and the deck which do make loading and unloading much easier in that you have some warning before you potentially hit the sides of the doorway. Still, it is not much fun if you want to simply load up and go. If you really have to have the smallest enclosed trailer into which Amphi will fit then please bid away. Just don't say I did not give you full disclosure about what you were getting.
