It is fast approaching. Mike Bayman has put forth a lot of hard work again this year. Things have been changed, added or eliminated to hopefully keep things fresh however the fun of a swim in is getting to see friends, both from the club and Celina. We will also be visiting another lake about 40 minutes away which will prove fun.

The club will be presenting an honorary membership to both the town of Celina and the Eagles. Celina Mayor Sharon LaRue will be accepting this award on behalf of the town prior to the amphi launch at the hot-hole Friday evening. There will be press coverage and she says the town is both thrilled and excited to be receiving this.

FYI, There is talk of Good Morning America doing a segment at the Boston Swim in on Amphicars, etc in August. Stay tuned.

Almost 30 cars and counting plus typically 7 to 10 non registered amphi's usually show up.

Also 1 DUKW is scheduled to arrive Friday. I wonder if he will be able to go under the bridge at the hot hole on Friday evening?

Its been wild here since the change of plans to be able to go to Celina. Its amazing all the meetings and trades that get scheduled. I am really glad that I can make it this year.Later Dave the Lone Wolf Wave.

Possibly a new Celina tradition? During the Saturday festival parade the women at the square give out huge Victoria Secret bras to various floats, amphi's, etc. Ron Trudeau (again) received one this year.

Leaving the banquet Saturday evening it was attached to my wife's sun visor on the amphi. I took it back to the room and put it under cigarman's bed sheets. He hung it back onto my room door. When leaving town I stopped by Bob Davis's amphi trailer and hung it on the door. I wonder where it ended up?

Celina was fun as ususal, excellent weather and 33 cars showed up with another 6 or so families registered without an amphi.
