Welcome to the "new" amphicar list/digest - 07-28-2000, 02:17 PM

Greetings All,

Effective today I have moved all members of the Amphicar list/digest over to the new server at egroups.com. The two biggest changes are that you must now post your messages to amphicar-lovers@egroups.com. You may alsoparticipate via the web and/or change your delivery settings by visiting http://www.egroups.com/group/amphicar-lovers.

Iwill continue to maintain the archives at escribe.com since we have built up a pretty good history on that site.

If you do visit the egroups link you will also find that there is a chat room and a file archive area. The file area is probably a good choice for placing pictures of your amphi and/or mermaid. The new service will allow e-mail attachments when posting to the list. If you do attach files do not forget that some folks have very slow connections. Thus, do try to refrain from attaching any particularly large files.

Let me know if you have any questions. Iwas looking forward to meeting many of you in Celina this year but suddenly wound up with a newjob, new house, etc. To top it all off, we must vacate our current abode in about four weeks. I still have to find somewhere to store my own Amphi for the next 3-4 months. As for Celina ... maybe next year (sigh).
