I think that there was a promotion associated with the Amphicar and the Bond movie "Thunderball". I don't think the car was in the movie though, and I have never seen the promo items-even on ebay.

I hate to say it Mike, but that engine may need to be removed to free up that clutch and inspect for needed parts replacement. Forcing it to break loose could damage the clutch disc splines or the tranny.
