We often hear that same remark when we pull out of the water at our
favorite ramp. Can't remember ever seeing an Amphi in a 007 flick
either.

Paul,
I here the same thing all the time but being a hugh bond, eastwood and the
duke fan. (same as most) I've never seen an Amphi in a bond movie either.
Has anyone?

So you still haven't found one yet, we heard of one close to us that
only has 200 miles on it, we can not comment on how true this is; but
are going to try to find this guy.

We are having so much fun with ours. It is so fun when people gather
around EVERY time we pull out. You should have seen the guys face
that was pulling his boat out yesterday when we drove in...it was
classic.

There is a getaway scene in which an Amphicar is very prominently featured
in the movie "The President's Analyst" with James Coburn.
It was a favorite of mine even before I knew what an Amphicar was!
If you haven't seen the movie, I'd suggest renting it.
