below about sheet metal bits go, I can tell you that I was out at East Coast
Amphicar early last month for the Big Festival that Billy and Randy throw
every year, and that Billy is now turning out some truly excellent
fabrications of quarterpanels and other body pieces. He's invested
thousands of bucks in molding and turning equipment and can also do the
later model quarterpanels, featuring a perfectly bevelled lip or "nose" at
the bottom. If you're going out there anyhow, as you say, then your

Hi All,
Does anyone recall in what month Gordon's holds their "sheet metal sale".
Regretably I only got my Amphi in the water twice this year, simply too much
going on between the new house, new job, etc. This also meant that since I
have not ordered any parts in over six months, I have been banished Gordon's
sales flyer mailing list. :-(
In any event, To make up for ignoring Amphi all summer I have decided to buy
her some new rear quarters. Looks like Amphi could be heading back to visit
East Coast Amphicar this winter. I thought about buying a MIG welder but I
am simply not that brave.
