tag like that. My past experience with Netscape usually showed that as the
problem with tables. If I locally comment out that

Amphicar.net main page problems

Anyone else experience nothing on the main Amphicar.net page except the top
gif (Amphicar "triange" and rotating guages gif ...) ... no text, no
little amphicars on the side, etc.... However, the "wiper" message from
Amphipoda appears ok. But if I put in "news.html" or "bazarr.html", etc,
those pages appear normally. Amphicar.com pages appear without problem.

Using Netscape Communicator 4.61. Months ago this page appeared ok to me.
I haven't traced it down, but guess is a missing
tag, then
all the words (such as "What is Amphicar.net?") magically appear ... Again
leading me to believe some syntax error in the tags defining the complete
table and row definitions.

Re: Amphicar.net main page problems

A couple of others using various flavors of Netscape have reported similar
problems with the Amphicar.net home page at
http://www.amphicar.net/index.html, while also having no problems viewing
the other pages such as the Amphi-Bazaar at
http://www.amphicar.net/bazaar.html and so on. I have been unable to
reproduce these problems with the home page after trying a variety of
different machines and browser versions, but there clearly must be something
amiss somewhere.

Frankly, it's about time I freshened the joint up a bit anyhow, so I suppose
I'll be replacing the index.html from the ground up real soon.
