It really has been a great year. Few years ago the Amphi club had four
hour long video tapes. It has footage of the swims in New York. When I
first watched the tape I liked it just because of the Amphis. This time
I liked it because I knew almost all of the people. Its the people that
make the Amphi great. In the last week we recieved Christmas cards many
with Brown Wonder pics included from all over the country. I got a nice
note from the original owners daughter. I have had a LOT of cars over
the years and NONE have had such a positive impact. Because of the list
and the help of The Bilgemaster, I have mailed out a handful of red 66
videos. I feel confident that an offer will come. I like all that crap
thats bolted to Brown Wonder, I couldnt do that to a nice original car.
Iam thinking of a way to mold in steps to rear quarter so we dont need
to drag ladder around. Also some night decorations.; some type of
lighting. Maybe some neon for interior.A tall awning instead of
umbrella.I want to upgrade stereo more. I need to work on cleat to
easily pull surf board. Then I thought maybe a lawn chair attached to
surf board. Iam thinking about Celina when Hugh was sitting in chair
being interviewed by Car Crazy. The King and his court! I forget what
stunt I wanted to pull. There is no other parts place that I look
forward to calling. I got a set of radial wide whites from Gordons for a
customer car and they look great. They have a modern tread design and
are not reproductions of original. And if you forgot Caryl Peters will
be out of office till the 4th. The next couple of weeks should be
interesting, Amphipoda is turning 40 sometime in January. That should be
an unusual party! Cap N James Bondo got screwed hard by a virus that
cleared his drive. He was working very hard on schematics and other cool
Amphi stuff now its all cyber dust. Thats a firewall warning to all! I
suggested skip all that hard work and post bikini babes on Amphis
instead. I just remembered I need to complain to "Hot Boats" You guessed
it boats with babes. They had a couple of California Amphicars WITHOUT
the bikini babes.(January 2001). Well enough of this rambling I need to
place an order for more rotors. It cant be the rotor! Merry Christmas.
