Here in South Carolina marine registration isn't needed. I actually went down
to the Boat registration and title office because I though it would be
cool to have boater numbers across the bow of my Amphi. I took pictures and
eveything. After about an hour of stares and laughter from all of the
women in the back office, a call to the main office in the state capital was
made. Some un-named official ruled that only one registration was needed.
Too bad, the boater numbers add a touch of class don't you think?
