Subject: [amphicar-lovers] Original Amphicar Radio

Hello Amphicar friends -

I searched the message archives for information on an Original
Amphicar Radio with little results.
You should be proud of me Bilgemaster!!!

I have a '65 Blue Amphicar with, what I think is, an Original
Amphicar radio. The radio has Amphicar printed on the faceplate. I
placed a picture of the radio in Yahoo Groups folder under Files-
>Amphicar Art-> Original Amphicar Radio.jpg

How many others in the group have this radio?

Darrell Gaddy
Huntsville, Alabama

'65 Blue Amphicar with original radio
'64 Green Amphicar ex parts car

Hopefully this link will be the radio picture.

Umm, that must be a fake. I'll give ya $20 for it! Just funnin ya!

If anyone has one that they are interested in trading or selling, let
me know. I don't care if it works or not. I can probably make it
work. I just want to make mine as complete and original as possible.

I thought I heard that Amphicar also had an AM/FM/Marine band radio,
it that true?

Funny how I just started out only to "clean up and make it float" and
now I lie awake at night thinking about what I need to do to her next
or what parts do I need.

Cap'n John (who is finally taking a day off work to work on the Amphi)
