Those funny German fuses - 11-01-2001, 10:11 PM

Hi Gang,
In my shop, I have most all my Amphi parts layed out on tables and benches and frequently gaze at those funny looking German fuses and fuse block. I wonder if (A) restorers put the originals back (B) replacements are available and (C) would I be better off installing a modern block with glass tube fuses or the u-shaped plastic ones. While I'm not shooting for 100% original, (C) is what I lean towards.

My schematic should show all the amp ratings and locations so I'm not concerned about that. I'm curious to know what's been done with your restored Amphi's fuse blocks.

By the way, my bodyman successfully hammered out one new rear quarter with lips. He claimes he did it in less than 6.5 hours and the other side should go a lot faster.

Long Live The Lips!
