Dead Battery - 11-01-2001, 07:01 PM

Hello all!
I just went outside and found that Metal Beast's battery was dead. I think
the ignition switch kinda was left slightly on. Anyway, I hooked up a small
battery charger w/ the positive as ground, turned on the charger, and heard a
loud "pop". The charger shut off, and I'm not sure if I want to proceed with
the battery in the car. Battery test dead as a door nail, but is only 7
months old. Is there a trick to charging or jump starting the car, other than
the positive ground?
Helppppppppppppppppppp!

Perhaps it's not positive ground!! Chech the markings on the battery.
