Don't even bother to bring the Registration info into the picture. I
have an early car with a German VIN tag that has no year stamp on it.
The registration says it's a 67 but it has all the marks and body styles
of a 63 or 64. I still think the dealers stamped ALL the info on the VIN
plates before the cars were sold.
