Windshield Update - 11-18-2001, 05:02 PM

Hi Gang,
In the words of Tommy in Tampa "Here's the deal".

Windshields to be pick up ( In Mn.), will call (at Lo-Can) or Sunday drive(s).
Brad K. .................................1
Mark L. ................................2
Mr. Wave...............................2
Tommy(WI)............................1
Rick F. ................................1
Chas.....................................1
Karl V. ................................1
Myself...................................1

Total: 10

Windshields to be shipped from Mn.
Bill C. .................................1
Tommy(Tmpa).......................2
Cptn John.............................1
Leon....................................1
Craig....................................2
Gord....................................3
Brian(CA).............................1

Total: 11(seven crates)

Looking at the numbers, I think everyone will understand when I make the following request. As of midnight tonight (CST), I will no longer take out of state orders with the exception of Wisconsin. On Minnesota and Wisconsin orders, pick ups and deliveries (within reason by myself) will be discussed.

I guess we got our 8 minimum!

More later!

Brian Crombie

Brian

I would also be interested in a windshield. Did I make it in time?

Brian, Make life easy on yourself, don't let them ship the windshields to you. Let us pay for the crates and have them shipped to us. Not one in each crate but one crate to each destination. I would also like to get three windshields if it is at all possible. Tommy in Tampa

Tommy,
Tonight's total is twenty-nine windshields including your three. This is a good thing because it gives me negotiating power with shipping to multiple addresses and possibly getting a better unit price. Eight of those twenty-nine need to come to me for distribution. Dave the Wave is looking at seven plus and three are on will call at the factory. That leaves eleven units. Lo-Can might crate yours up and ship them separately although five would be better than three (wink, wink). Gord showed an interest in three units however he was concerned about the Canadian paperwork. Two guys in California might have their units shipped together so now we're down to three single crate shipments. I can handle those.

So.... that boils down to five addresses on a twenty-nine count order. I'd be surprised if Lo-Can did'nt work with me on that especially since this order is worth $9135.00. I'll be calling them this week to make the arrangements. Will calls are still welcomed. By the way, in order to not clutter up the List archive, if you have any more will calls or questions regarding this matter that does not pertain to the group, please feel free to e-mail me at bcrombie@means.net.

More later!
