Mid-winter swim

What a beautiful day here in Wisconsin, it must have been way up in
the mid 50's and as we were about to cross the bridge by Anchor Inn
we decided to check for ice on the ramp. NO ICE! We drove home,
moved a few cars, uncovered Amphi and checked her vital fluids and
air pressure. After connecting her battery and priming the gas pump,
Amphi started right up. We let her warm up and then we were off.
The water was so smooth that we had to make a big splash just to see
those unique Amphi waves. We left the top up this trip; but tomorrow
may be a different story because it is suppose to hit 60. We gave
three sets of rides and had many cars stopped on the highway bridge.
We even had some guys in a Jag driving back to Chicago from St. Paul
that saw us from the I-90 bridge drive down to the next exit which
would be about 13 miles and come back. They were so excited to see
our car and go for a ride that we didn't even care that they had
Bears jerseys on.
What a mid-winter day.
