There are no silly questions.
The Playboy is a very rare car built in Buffalo, New
York in the late 1940's. Three guys had a great idea
to manufacture America's first "second" car after the
War. They tried to raise money, but the scandal
surrounding the Tucker automobile caused the American
public to be afraid of all stock offerings like this,
so the stock offering fizzled, and the Playboy dream
went away after they only built 97 cars. There are
less than 45 remaining.
The car has nothing to do with Playboy magazine, and
obviously nothing to do with Amphicars.
I am a real computer amateur, but I have started to
