Amphicar Towing - 04-14-2002, 11:45 PM

We just completed our first lengthy "Test-tow" with Amphi 4 down
behind the motorhome. MH and Amphicar are doing well, so far. As we
left home base, a pedestrian told me there was some left-
right "wobble" in Amphi's front tires as we drove over some very
poorly paved roads. I had not previously observed this, but to be on
the safe side I added a bungy cord stabilizer from the bottom of the
steering wheel to the base of the front seat. Nancy's observations
from the RV rear window and several "tow-check" stops did not reveal
any problem.

Today was side roads and freeways. Tomorrow we'll head over
Snoqualmie Pass, although the mountain driving will test the RV more
than Amphi.

We'll then head down to the Columbia River, Deschutes River
Recreational Area, then to Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast, up to
Ocean Shores on the Washington Coast and thyen back home for Opening
Day of the fresh water fishing season. It will be a good test run.

Sometime after the Seattle Yacht Club Boat Parade, we'll begin a long
run eastward visiting friends and heading towards Celina. See you
all there!!
