Ebay item 1822001567 question - 04-18-2002, 02:20 PM

I noticed that this Amphi has a knob on the dash below the bilge pump
control. My 66 has a crome ring in the dash but it looks like the knob
was removed by the previous owner. Look at the interior photo on the
ebay add and let me know if any body has any idea what that knob is
for. I've asked before... Maybe the photo will help.
Thanks all...

That's the switch to manually turn on the Bilge Blower....
US cars had Bilge Blowers and a switch to turn it on.
You can see that John's car on eBay (which doesn't have a Bilge Blower for
some reason) doesn't have the knob.

Are you refering to the switch under the dash by the heater controls?
I'm refering to a knob on the dash between the clock and speedo and
under the bilge switch.

Craig,

The knob between the speedo and clock located at the bottom of the
dash panel (the one with the clock/speedo/gages) operates the bilge
blower manually. It should be a pull to turn it on switch. The button
below the dash next to the heater controls kicks the timer off so you
can start the car. The car I have (Butler's Supper Club) on eBay is a
very early car and never had a blower installed.

John
