Lake Geneva & Milwaukee Swim-Ins

Caryl & I were talking about Lake Geneva last night with Daryl
Tresner. We are not sure how Lake Geneva will shake out this year
after we asked to leave because we were a danger to onlookers and
ourselves. Anybody got any recommendations? There is the great
antique boat show that did appreciate us and PaPa Cory's.

We did the downtown Milwaukee River Splash with Nick & Sandy
Borchardt last year. It was a fun swim, winding our ways through the
downtown channels, although it was so cold we kept our tops up and
the heaters going, not many citizens came out for the fun. When is
it this year?

Thanks for all the input on our U-joint questions.

Re: Lake Geneva & Milwaukee Swim-Ins

I have been checking into rooms at Lake Geneva. I know the boat show and the
classic car cruise are on the same weekend. Last year my wife and I stayed
right downtown at this real nice suite type hotel. I can't remember the name
but I have it on the computer at work. I am workng on rates but it looks
like they want 10 rooms.
The antique boat show is onSeptember 28. Please let me know if you are
interested and then I can get a count of how many rooms are needed.

Re: Lake Geneva & Milwaukee Swim-Ins

I'm new to the group. Dave "the Wave" and Roger Sallee just finished an
Amphi for me. I'd love to come to Lake Geneva in Sept for an overnite. I'm
picking up my newly refinished Amphi at Dave's swim-in in mid-May. Hope to
meet some of you there.
