Transmission Mount Reinforcement - 07-18-2002, 05:10 PM

Does anyone who is going to be in Celina have the German retrofit transmission
mount reinforcement bolts installed?

I'd like to see them if possible?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
After having a new set of mounts fail, within a month or two, I
installed the German mount set. They work fine. I'd suggest opening
up the holes in the tranny mount a bit so that the longer bolts can't
make metal to metal contact with the mount. Dave Derer is trying to
get another car I own ready enough for a Celina float. It has the
German mounts too. If all goes well, you should see it there.
