If you've never visited Holland, Mi. you are really missing a neat place. Chris
and I had one of our best times ever swimming and visiting with friends in this
beautiful place. Thanks to James and Gloria Tiller for getting this together
and to Ed and Sharon Koops for their wonderful hospitality. We will be back
next year.

I had a chance to see on of the steering braces since Robert Vondracek was
there. They are super nice and look like they are made for the steering box.

Hi Folks: Since Celina I haven't had much time to set up the upcoming
Swim In. But Sharon worked a deal with the Kelly Inn, Best Western.
616-994-0400. The manager was great. There are 15 rooms set aside for
Amphicar-Classic Cars. Or is it classy.
We are planning a picnic/potluck for those coming in on Friday evening.
It's on the beach at the Koops. With plenty of swim time all evening
on Lake Macatawa.. Saturday will be a run down to Saugatuck, on land
and water, to have breakfast, wander the shops or do lots of swimming.
I hope to have a parking area set aside for us to come and go near the
ramps. I doubt that we will leave Holland before 10. If we wander back
to Holland in the afternoon, we can give rides at the park ramp next to
the Koops. Sharon is making reservations at the restaurant behind their
house for the family style dinner again. It was great last year. Could
you please email her with the number in the party. Also, for Fri. it
would be nice to know how many to plan the food. Sharon is
addtouch@macatawa.org
We have a confirmation from 5 of us and I know several more that said
they are planning on it. Hugh and Jeani are staying over in Michigan to
be there. So with good weather we should have a great Swim.

Hi Gloria & Jim......It was so nice to see you at Celina...this year was the
best yet! Mike and I are looking forward to the Holland Swim In...it will
be a blast once again! We plan on leaving once our girls get out of school
(be on the road by 3pm)...of course we will hit all of that Friday afternoon
traffic leaving the city...but I don't care....viva Holland! What time on
Friday were you all planning on meeting at Sharon's for the potluck? Hope
store #2 is running smoothly for you guys...don't work to hard! Take care.
