Stalwart Amphibious Vehicle

Hi all, I understand one of the Amphicar guys in Tennessee owns a Stalwart
amphibious vehicle. Doug Parsons gave me a tip about the location of one and
I was able to acquire it. It is in good shape and seems mechanically OK, but
if I could ask some questions it would be a big help. Check out this site for
some photos http://www.olive-drab.com/idphoto/id..._stalwart.php3
Thanks in advance, anyone that wants can always email me at
tommyintpa@aol.com

Tommy:
That would be Jeff Lane. You can email me off list if you'd like his
number.

Re: Stalwart Amphibious Vehicle

Tommy and all, there is a Yahoo group for the Stalwart called Stolly that would
be worth joining. Stollys are a strangely British vehicle, right down to the
Rolls Royce engine and a transmission where the designers must have decided to
have a cup of tea rather that finish the job - it never worked properly. Most of
them are over here but there are a few in the States, there was a very nice
one - painted bright yellow - at a harbour/resort a few miles north of LA
airport.
