It should go from the valve cover PCV valve to you air cleaner. Your
air cleaner should have a pipe protruding from the bottom.

Re: Re: Air breather???

No pipe from the bottom of the air cleaner. I don't have a PCV valve
either. Just a hose pluged with a bolt. Some one must have changed out
air cleaners in the past. What is the correct set up for a 66? What
does the PCV look like anyway?

Re: Air breather???

You should be able to find a solid rubber plug for your valve cover
at a local parts store if you want to eliminate it. The PCV is just
like any PCV valve you might find at a parts store for a Triumph or
similar smaller engine. I am pretty certain they are the same.

I thought that the PCV wasn't used until the very late cars. Anyone??

I just won an air cleaner on eBay and I believe it has the pipe on
it. I don't need that style, so if ya wanna trade?

I'd like to keep my car as original as possable. If it should indeed
have a PCV I'm up for that trade John. It will be a few weeks before I
get home so You may have to wait for a pic. Mine is in need of paint...

Re: Air breather???

Hi,
There's no PCV on Amphi's, just the hose from the valve cover to the
pipe on the underside of the air cleaner.

Re: Air breather???

Looks like (by what John said) the PCV is not used. That makes that
part easy. Once I get the air cleaner from the guy I bought it from,
I'll let you know. Now that I think about it, I am not 100% sure it
has the pipe. But if it indeed does, it's yours. I have months before
I need to use it for the next project, so no hurry. It needs paint
too, so NYA NYA NYA!

Look up item #1858495086 on eBay for a pic of mine.
