On one of my state unsanctioned test drives around my block (I'm still
unregistered), my amphi stalled. It has an electric fuel pump and I heard
the rapid ticking indicating that it was out of gas. Nope, gas was good.
By the way, I keep it set to the 'reserve' position'. Now, in my setup,
it's shut-off valve, in-line gas filter, then fuel pump. I disconnected
the fuel line at the filter. What kind of flow should I expect? Mine was
more of a trickle rather than a stream. I took off the shut-off valve,
hooked it up to a faucet and watched the water shoot through. Put it back
on the car....still a trickle. I even had the gas cap off to make sure it
was vented. What rate of flow should I expect with gravity feed?

Could it be "rust dust"? What happens if you blow a volume air back up the
line into tank ... does the gas start to run better then? Might be time
for a good wash with swimming pool acid and some pennies....

Sounds just like a problem I had with my Triumph. It was scary to
drive because I didn't know if I would get stuck somewhere or not.
What I found was a rusty gas tank so I removed it, cleaned it with
cleaner and rolled a chain around inside then took it to a place
where it was coated inside. My fuel line was gunked up so I did a
replacement. My fuel filter was replaced. I rebuilt my fuel pump
and carburetors. There was nothing left to do at which point it ran
fine.
