Another from my trip down memory lane...

Took a small block of wood and carved
a crude outer resemblance to Amphi.
Mounted the carving atop an old slot
car and blended the bottom with plastic
and silicone cement. Allowed the copper
brushes to be exposed so it actually
still functioned as a slot car (albeit
one slow buggy). Mermaid laughed and
asked if I water tested it. The ensuing
short circuit blew the main breakers,
smoked my slot car transformer, and
fried the Amphi slot car prototype
beyond recognition. What the #%$@
was I thinking?!
