manuals and books


I keep seeing faxon on ebay with a factory manual for the amphicar
is this better, as good, worse or better as supplement to that which I see
at the amphicar website??
what ARE the best books to have on this vehicle
(gord in Ontario Canada looking for an amphicar, just starting out, don't
know nothin!!)

Gord "too" ,

Not being one to say bad about other's products, but I would be
careful of somebody who doesn't even have the years of production
correctly.

I have all 3 manuals (maintenance, parts and owner's) available on CD
and only a couple hard copies of the maintenance manual left.

Ask around first about them so you won't be disappointed.

I have to give a plug for John on this one. Most of
the repro manuals look like a video that has been
copied too many times. John's manuals are more like a
digitally remastered DVD of the same material complete
with extra footage from the archives. Without a
doubt, they are the best you can get.
