My drive shafts are hanging out - 05-06-2004, 12:17 PM

Hi again, My drive shafts are hanging out. I have a question I think I know
the answer to. When I jack up the Amphi and let the rear tires hang on drive
shafts, if I remove the tires and look up into the tunnel I see there is about
two inches of the drive shafts that have pulled out of the transmission. Does
this mean the drive shafts are not extending (telescoping)? I swam the car a
lot one day and had a tranny full of water. Did they make late drive shafts
without any grease fittings?
