In Oregon Illinois next to boat ramp is a nice car show. Plus the town
has a variety of events including tours of Castle. Saturday October 2nd.
I plan on camping at campground we used as a stop during May swim in.
Painted rims to match car,should have listened to Margie earlier-looks
great. Drew up plans for custom rear seats. Will look mostly original
but be able to be raised like boat seats. Later Dave the Wave

Just down river from the campground is a private ramp
w/ their own park area, covered picnic pavilion, etc.
Sunday night after the swim-in I was cruisng the river
and pulled out to the folks frantic waves. After a
few rides, they offered beer (accepted), BBQ steak
dinner (declined), and expressed extraordinary
interest in Amphicars. They were participants when
the group pulled out at the Campground Saturday, and
offer their property for any future gatherings.
Didn't get the names, but you may wish to drop in on
them, Dave.
