Am I correct in recalling that one of our fellow-Amphicar owners may also
own a Crosley (along with some other micro-cars)? If so, and if he or she
would like a copy of a rather nice article titled "It takes a confident man
to drive a 1951 Crosley" that appeared in the September 3, 2004
"AutoWeekend" section of The Washington Times (p. G1, G8), just drop me a
line off-list with your address and I'll mail it right along.
By cooincidence, it seems that Crosley also manufactured a wartime amphibian
as described at
http://www.amphibiousvehicle.net/amphi/C_C.html , so maybe
this posting isn't really so off-topic after all.
