Inn on Green plans for 2005

My reservations are made. Grand Pa Wave and I will be "Doin' Dora "
Some other exciting plans are being made for this year also. Our antique
corn crib and barn will be removed and a 40 X 50 steel building will be
erected. This building will be primarily Amphicar storage. With an area
for minor maintenance to ready cars for storage and summer usage. My new
warm room is dedicated primarily for transmission and engine repair. A
new shop room is being made for sheet metal fabrication. When I finish
the next few major restorations; I will be focusing more on mechanicals
and move away from the very time consuming full restorations. I think by
offering on site storage, maintenance, buyers guidance and transmission
rebuilding I should stay fairly busy. Later Dave the Wave

Amphi is flexing her shocks and heading down the
highway again (finally). Presently in beautiful South
Beach State Park, Newport, Oregon. Unfortunately we
won't make it all the way to Mt Dora and the many
other stops on last year's "'round the country"
journey. We do plan to see Solvang, Santa Barbara and
spend some time on the Colorado River in Parker, AZ,
tho.

Have fun. We've got great memories from last time.
Looking forward to seeing many of you in Celina!

Re: Inn on Green plans for 2005

Hello, I hope everyone is having a great winter and getting ready for spring. I
have a question, can a land shift rod be installed with only the trans removed
from the car? This was the blue car at the Celina Sunday morning clinic with the
shift problems. It is an early 62 with a 67 transmission and was determined a
longer shift rod would solve the problem. The early shift rods are shorter than
the later ones. Has anyone done this swap without an engine removal? Thank you,
