Duct tape and Swim In memories

It was the third and final Swim with Dave. My new car had not seen
water in 20 years. Seals ? What seals we dont need no stinkin seals.
Parsons pulls out duct tape and car was saved. I think it was Chuck
Riener's first swim? Once again duct tape was called in. We should of
wrapped Lindoos car with duct tape since it nearly sank.. Later Dave the
Wave

Re: Duct tape and Swim In memories

Ahhh the virtues of duct tape! Remember the maroon car I got out of
Georgia? We employed aluminized duct tape to seal up the 2 small rust
holes in the 1/4s and spend many hours in the water with Dave and
company. We also put 200+ miles on land on it as well. At the time it
had no door seals so Ace hardware had some screen window seals that
worked out fine for a temporary solution. That car will be up for sail
within the next 7-10 days (no more duct tape!).

Too bad that was the last Swim with Dave. What are we to do??
I'm showing up anyway! So nya nya nya!
