Fuel Valve Fix - Welcome to The Amphicar Lovers Digest / Forum

Hi,

Someone asked the other day about repairing a fuel shut off valve. I
tracked down one part that usually fails and the one part that Hugh
doesn't sell. It's the seal disk that sits behind the spring clip and
valve "twist" part.

They're $10 each plus $5 shipping per order. So if you want two, it's
$25.

that be me: joe biscone . . . also,can you ref. the assembly order (gasket, 2 spring washers, outer plate, snap ring)??? i have the valve without the 2 screws to open it . .

Hi Joe,

That order sounds about right but it's been 3 years since I've had mine
out to look at them. I believe Hugh said there were 4 variations of
the valve. I've seen 2 types and my seal disk fits both of those
correctly.
