Amphicar segment on Car & Driver TV this coming weekend!!!

Jeff and Susan Lane thought the TV show and article below might be of
interest our club members. I reckon so...

Atricle:

Lane Motor Museum's Amphicar Takes a Plunge for Car and Driver
Television

The Lane Motor Museum's 1964 Amphicar took a dip in Percy
Priest Lake on May 31 for the filming of a segment on the car for Car
and Driver Television which will air on Spike TV during the upcoming
season.

Jeff and Susan Lane, Director and Curator of Lane Motor
Museum, drove the Amphicar to the Elm Hill Marina outside of Downtown
Nashville. The Car and Driver Television team, led by associate
producer Blaine Seabolt, photographed the vehicle parked on land and
driving at approximately 40 MPH on the road before taking to the
water.

The Car and Driver Television photographer, Matt, filmed
the vehicle from all angles, even taking a ride in the backseat for
some up close and personal footage. The majority of the filming took
place from a pontoon boat which followed Jeff and Susan and the
Amphicar on its first voyage of the summer season.

The Amphicar segment on Car and Driver television will
air on Saturday July 30 at 11:30 a.m. (CST) and repeat on Sunday,
July 31 at 10:30 a.m. (CST). Car and Driver airs on Spike TV. Hope
you can catch it!
