By the way, I should point out that in my last post a month ago I said that Gordon Imports shipped me the
wrong color top. They didn't. I'm just stupid and didn't realize that a white top is black inside. Duh!

A couple folks had asked me about the stainless steel brake lines from inlinetube.com. Well I go them
this week and they look fine. I am bending them myself. I don't have the receipt here with me but I
know I spent $202 for all 11 brake lines plus I got a thicker stainless steel line to serve as the fuel line,
so maybe it was $170 or so to have all stainless steel brake lines. I think I'm going to put stainless lines
on my 60 Buick as well as the lines are looking pretty rusty. I've twice had the brakes go out completely
on a single master cylinder car and it's scary.

Speaking of brakes, has anyone found a good source of end boots for the front wheel cyllinders? In past
posts I thought I heard that White Post or whomever it is that resleeves cylinders has rubber that fits too loose and that Hugh's fit better. I just got the 6-23-15/34 from Hugh and they fit a little loose (on the outside, and the inner hole is a bit tight) on the rear cylinders but are very loose on the front cylinders.
You can see that water would pour right in around that boot. Has anyone found a good source of wheel
cylinder rubber that fits better?

For floor matting, today I found that Columbus Gasket (614-878-6041) sells 1/8 think black rubber
(with no ribbing, just smooth) in 72 inch wide rolls for $18.07 per linear foot. I figured that a piece which
is 5 foot by 6 foot (so it costs 5 times $18.07) could be used to make the 5 rubbing floor pieces not counting
the carpet that goes over the wheel wells in front as long as you have one particular arrangement--hint the large piece must be 3 inches from the one edge to allow the one triangle piece to be cut from 1 corner.
Anyway, so that $100 for all the floor matting without ribs. I wonder how much that would make me
slip and fall with no ribs?

I still haven't figured out how to pull my license plate off of the piece of dryer sheet metal after I stuck it
on with 50 neodynium magnets and soon I'll need it for my car!
