Just got back from walking my dawg and I feel as if my nose is going to fall off. brrrrrr. Didn't want you to mis interpert my last note as having a negative conotation on you business. I'm just a little down on selling precious commodities to get married. I think your Portland Ducks boat is a great idea. I'd love to come down and see it. My mother came up here 15 years ago with her broken down old house boat to see the river and it's view. It's now a bigger broken down house boat That hasn't seen water in 15 years.
It would be so cool for you to give rides thru the Oregon City Locks to Mcminnville to see the Spruce Goose. Maybe a long day trip. You could do a breakfast ride down and bus people back and pick folks up at the museum and dine them back to Portland. I've been up and down the Willamette and Columbia and it never gets dull. How many people have gone thru river locks??
That's one of the things I want to be able to do with my 80 y/o mother with my amphi. I think your bus may be more comfortable for her!
Goog swimming!

Hello Everyone!>>
>>
Just a quick update on my second Amphicar for sale. This is a Red ?67 in pretty sweet condition ? nice paint job, runs great, stops great, swims great. It has a new interior and five brand new white wall tires.I?m only selling it because I need the money to help fund my $220,000 purchase of a Hydra Terra amphibious bus (seats 49).Check it out at www.portlandducks.com>>
>>
There are a few minor things I would correct if I were to keep this Amphicar:the front bumper is a little bent (check photos), the top is new but has a small 2 inch tear in the left rear side, and the metal under the battery tray is a little suspect and should probably be worked on soon (either patched or replaced).>>
>>
I?m listing it at $19,500 (very firm) to insure a quick sale. I?m trying to get caught up on home and work life this week after a whirlwind trip to Vegas to get married, but I can start scheduling rides / swims for anyone serious about buying next week or next weekend.>>
Great idea about the amphibious trip to see the Spruce Goose and going
through the locks. I'm hoping to plan a number of different trip
possibilities with my new amphibious bus. It would be sweet to have
some Amphicars in attendance for the big kick off in April 2006! I
wish I didn't have to sell mine, but I need to consolidate all of my
hobbies into one business. After this Amphicar, I'll be selling my '45
DUKW as well!
A DUKW would be fun! I don't know if I'll have my Amphi ready by April. Maybe Santa will bring me some parts! Love to be there.
