Semi-Sorta Off Topic, But Only Maybe - 12-31-2005, 08:14 PM

All,

Since Das Boot was lonely, I now have a 1956 Messerschmitt sitting in
pieces in my garage. Rather than go back with the rather boring red with
black trim color scheme, I think I am going to go with the Amphicar
Fjord Green with white trim. I think turquoise is a great '50s car
color. I am going to have the interior redone in Amphicar apricot. Can
anyone direct me to a source for this color vinyl? Also, if you have
them handy, the paint codes for Fjord green?

BTW...it appears that I am going to have to order almost all of the
parts for this from overseas. Thanks Hugh, for bringing the Amphicar
parts to the USA....which is where they belong anyway! :^)

I also make those "apricot" upholstery kits and have a very very close match to original.. Dave "stitcher" Bennett
