Even without the Barrett auction, I think the $20k point for decent Amphis was passed quite a while ago.

Most Amphi owners will tell you that at whatever time point they bought their Amphi it seemed like a lot of money for a "toy". The good news is that historic trends in past years have shown them to be more of an investment that you can enjoy.

I do think $115k wascrazy moneybut only for right now. Six years from now the list may well be all abuzz about the $200k Amphi and we will be regretting not buying at the bargain prices of 2006. Whatever the reasonable "average" price is today, it will likely be double that in 5-6 years.
