Why all the fuss about a 115k amphi. WE should all be proud to know that our cars/boats have garnered such high value. I feel very good that my amphi has appreciated in value, after all much time and many dollars have been invested. None of us are being forced to sell nor do I want to sell now , maybe someday but not now. However when that time comes we can place a value that we think is appropriate. As far as I'm concerned I want my amphi to look as good and be restored as close to original as possible. Hadley

Well, how do you figure that out? I bought mine in 95 for $3000. That figure was probably a couple of grand low. It is now appraised at $42000. That number might be high but that is what it came in at. So play a guessing game and figure out a number .

An Amphi that would SELL today for $65K was worth how much in 1996?

I don't know how much my white 66 is worth now,
(needing a lot of work this winter), but some friend
found out I had a swimmer and has tried to trade me
for a wooden Cris-Craft or a 73 Pantera, red and runs
good. Of curse you know what I told him, "NO WAY"!
