Anyone interested in getting together at the White Lake, NC Water
Festival on the weekend of May 19-21? I have an extra reservation at
the Days Inn in Elizabethtown. That about 5 miles away from White
Lake. Or, I'm sure you could also find something at one of the small
hotels listed on the White Lake web site. I found something at White
Lake Motel and Campground. White Lake is in eastern N.C. about 4 hours
from Atlanta. I remember this lake as a child. The water is crystal
clear. The banks are sandy. I may try to get a water proof camera
bag and take some underwater pictures of Amphi with her wheels hanging
down. There's a parade, car show, street dance, 10K run, and lots of
