Back in the Amphi business... - 05-11-2006, 10:58 AM

Well I'm finely getting back to work on my Amphicar. It's been a rough
year. To make a long story short the wife and I split up and I sold
the house and had to store the Amphicar and all the parts for awhile.
I'm back at it now though and getting ready to drop my car off at one
of two shops for the body work. I'm getting estimates now. I'm also
settled into a place with a real shop. I'm soon going to be the proud
owner of a small two bedroom house, great for me my dog and my
girlfriend, with a 2 car garage and a heated 40 x 42 hanger. The
Amphicar will be in the body shop for awhile which is ok as I will be
working most of the summer but I plan on getting it back this winter
and start the reassemble. After I get settled into the new place and
get all the parts out of storage I'll be posting a lot more. Been
wishfully lurking for awhile and glad to be back...

See you all in Celina!
