Amphipoda

   

Anyone have a replacement suggestion for
our keyed ignition switch? Gordon's is
out of stock and Shellee suggested a stock
"5 pole" ignition switch. Like to get
something quick for holiday weekend fun.
I'd prefer to go with something that has
been used successfully rather than trial
and heaps of error.

Or Amphipoda could just drive up??? Isn't Allan in the LA region?
Then again with gas prices FedEx may be cheaper!

Jeez Eric, you wouldn't drive YOUR Amphi
some 300 miles round trip thru Los Angeles
traffic would you? That would be a major
bummer to me. Maybe take the ocean route
instead. Oh no... salt water... Aghhhh!

It was not LA traffic...but Kathy and I did drive Das Boot 500 miles on
our Austin round trip. It can be done!

Probably not ... but I was thinking your dear mermaid might let you
use the crossfire? I'm driving the Amphicar to Sabula.

I'll be in San Diego for a few hours in August. I'll wave in your

Hey Poda,

I drive my Amphi's through L.A. everytime I go to the Puddingstone
meet and they've always made it just fine, not to mention the time I
drove all the way to your house in San Diego. That was about a 600
mile round trip. Actually though, I do get a bit nervous going
through the L.A. region in my cars. Too much traffic and most of them
are staring at my car.
