Sticking brakes continued


All of my lines are new...although they came from gordons many parts I
have gotten from them are crap. Yeah NOS but 40 years old on the
shelve. Not sure of the quality....what other ideas?????

Sticking brakes continued


All of my lines are new...although they came from gordons many parts I
have gotten from them are crap. Yeah NOS but 40 years old on the

Are the brake linings new ? Remember that on one of the rear shoes the lining must be shorter - if that isn't done the brakes can lock when hot.

Are the brake linings new ? Remember that on one of the rear shoes the lining must be shorter - if that isn't done the brakes can lock when hot.

Rubber brake lines are date coded. Usually bad hoses are either good or
bad regardless of drive time. Master cylinders have a valve plate. All
it takes is some dirt. Weak springs and a rough cylinder. Maybe You put
front rubbers in backwards. Or one of the fronts in backwards. This is
actually very easy and common mistake. Later Dave the Wave
