My 2 cents,
I like to keep a Amphi close to Original look and style but,,
A few things I do to each car is
1. Put a steeping brace on the steering box.If you have not done this have
someone turn your steering wheel while you look at the steering box! WOW.
2. put in a 2ed bilge pump as back up with automatic system.
3. put inspection and drain hole in the uniframe.
4.fibreglass seat base and soundproofing,, get rid of that water holding
hairy stuff in conv. boot area!
5.change to neg. ground for use of todays equipment(radio)I just got into
the MP3 system and love it.No skipping of CDs. 1000 mile and no switching of
disc!
As far as paint or interiors these are things that can easily be changed so
if you want your car Coral pink with blue interior go for it.
Many cars we are doing over today were considered PARTS cars 8 years ago
and would never be put back on the road. These are too far gone to put back
to Original so I am AOK with modified Amphis,
I love what Dan Borgman in FL did to his car.Swim platform, and all.!
We all use them, we all have fun!
My trailer queens stay that way for 1 day.. then they are drivers.
Just finished and road tested this winters project. A Blue 63 for Ken, in
Kitcheners Ont.
Welcome one more car on the road!.. the people that came to my swim in last
June saw this car arrive, John Capone had a great time trying to make just 1
