Mt. Dora to Tavares Wooton Parek - 11-29-2007, 07:17 PM

I went to Wooton Park in Tavares today & took some
photos of the park. I also went and saw Tamera
Rogers, Tavares Community Services Director, & got the
typical of what the boat launch will be built to. I
also got the project overview of the park & a copy of
the City of Tavares Newsletter. In this newsletter
the city is going to have a Train Festival on
Saturday, January 5th, 2008. They are going to have
vintage cars, tractors, & classic cars. Tamera Rogers
has asked me to invite all of the Amphicars to come &
join them @ the Train Festival. I have attached some
of the photos that I took along with the newsletter,
the boat ramp typical & the park overview. I have
additional photos of the park if anyone would like to
see them.
Ray

Mean Annual HWL (EL = 63.64 ft)
Mean Annual LWL (EL = 61.99 ft) SJRWMD 100 yr LWL (EL = 60.90 ft)

Ray----- good work----how close are you????

Do you know if the 100 year LWL=60.90 ft------------ isthe lakelevel now or when this survey was made

I took no measurements but last year the water seemed to be about 4 to 5 feet below normal, judging by other private ramps and docks

Thanks Ken

I just read the fine print and it says this water level data was current up to 1998, so who knows
